The needed equipment will help establish a catering business that will
provide employment for several deaf parents. As meals are prepared
for catering, sufficient food for the homeless will also be prepared.

"Food For the Hungry" is a mission service that with the proper support can go beyond meeting the
immediate need of food to calm the hunger. The project in support of unemployed deaf individuals can
provide training to purchase, manage and sell food products establishing small food stores. The store
will produce an income for both "the deaf individual" and "help in support of feeding other families and
individuals who have an immediate need ".
With the appropriate finical support, each Mission food store established is designed to regenerate itself
with the goal to produce another store. Allowing them to continue for years to come without the need
for additional financial support.
The mission food Service "Food For the Hungry" will produce the following additional meaningful results;
Location of the first food store is: Bogotá, Colombia, South America
Approximate number of people that will be impacted is estimated to be about 7,300 yearly
The design and study of this project started September 2008 and at this time we are at the final phase
seeking contributions with trust to have the first Food store in operation by November 2012

- 1. Deaf individuals and deaf parents who do work but struggle daily for food because of limited
funds... through the Mission Food Store will be able to purchase at cost which will allow them to
expand their food supply until their income improves.
2. The mission's program “Hot Meals for the Hungry" provides cooked meals as contributions are
available. The mission service “Food for the Hungry” will allow the program to purchase at
wholesale and provide additional meals.
3. Although we have ministered the Word of God to many deaf families and individuals, there are
many more who are hidden. The good news of the Mission Food for the Hungry service being
available will bring the deaf in contact with the Mission’s love, and introduce them to Jesus Christ
through the message of Salvation.
