"Lord I ask you to meet their financial need"
That is an honorable and acceptable prayer. However, there are three additions
that has made a great difference in my personal prayer for the needs of others;
#1. Be obedient to the conditions Jesus instructed in Matthew 6
#2. In prayer be specific as to the exact need f"inanciaially or materially".
#3. Be a vessel God can trust to provide through.
"... if it be your your will, meet the this need through
When, I do not have to meet the need of others, these three steps gives me total
peace regarding the specific financial or service needs need of each individual,
couple or family... and that includes the needs of this mission.
I have seen the provision of God come in so many different unforeseen ways.
Sometimes He has provided through others to whom I may or may not have
mentioned the need. And, sometimes He has provided through me. In either
case I thank Him for an answer to the prayer for others.
When a partner does not have finances to support, being specific in prayer for
others as to the exact need is important. The reason is that this knowledge is
reinforced in prayer, and when the lord provides from an unforeseen source, the
exact item and/or exact amount helps me to know to whom or where the funds
belong.
I do believe, God desires individuals He can trust to provide through. Experience
all that God desires to do through you. With trust for your prayer support
regarding needs mentioned, we are partners and we are available to pray with
you, for your concerns and/or need! -Bernie

Faith is the substance of things hoped for. Faith is the evidence of things not seen. "A request met!" , "A need met!" "A Miracle!"

Sometimes, during the counseling sessions, they will in confidence inform a
financial need. When I do not have to meet their need financially, I appreciate
the privilege to pray with them.
During my 47 years of ministerial counseling,
"2 years as an Evangelist, 4 years as Senior
Pastor, and 41 years in my present missionry
service", my privilege has been to pray with
many hurting indivduals, coupeles and families.
